This question keeps coming up over and over during the course of a typical month:

Which SQL Recovery Model should I use?

The answer is found in a simple matrix put together by EMC’s Mike Morris.   I believe he is also starting up his own blog as well, and I can’t wait to see that!

Hint: it’s not Bulk-Logged and it’s probably not Simple either.

    EMC’s RecoverPoint is recommended to complement a company’s DR strategy not replace it. It’s an extra layer of protection that can be deployed in addition to what the DBA’s might be doing on their SQL databases – it gives extra protection and rollback points so that you can help the database recover to just about any point in time.
